Anyone have a case of paraskevidekatriaphobia (the fear of Friday the 13th, of course)?! We're not completely sold on all superstitions (I mean, sometimes you just can't avoid stepping on the cracks - sorry, Mom!), but we're the first to admit that some pretty eery things have gone down in history on this frightening date.
It's practically impossible to follow all of the superstitions out there, so instead we've decided to embrace them with our favorite superstitious socks. Who knows - it could be good luck to sport a pair of Sock It to Me's this Friday?! It's worth a shot!
Everyone knows the old myth that it's bad luck if a black cat crosses your path. If you're wearing the black cats, does it still count?

And, of course, everyone knows it's bad luck to open an umbrella indoors. Not sure if this means we should take our Right as Rain socks off outside, but they're too darn cute not to wear in the house!

Did you know that killing a spider indoors means it will rain? Not such a bad idea on those hot summer days coming up!

If you do happen to accidentally kill a spider instead of politely escorting it outside, you can keep the lightning away simply by putting an acorn on the windowsill. Maybe our acorn socks will work also?!

Of course, there are TONS of superstitions about owls. Why do these cute little creatures get such a bad rap?

Birds of all kinds have been linked to bad luck. We're not huge fans of birds ourselves (other than our all of our adorable bird-themed socks), but we still feel slightly bad for the little guys. Maybe these socks will help turn around their reputations.

Whew, there are quite a few superstitions, huh? Maybe we're better off just sporting our Clover socks and hoping for a little luck!

What are your favorite - or most feared - superstitions? We'd love to hear any crazy Friday the 13th stories you have! Wishing you all a day of good luck!
