It has become easier to find Hanukah socks in the last few years, but they're still pretty rare - especially knee highs. Royal-blue socks can be a little hard to find, too. So, I was thrilled to find these, and bought myself a pair a as soon as they were introduced, a few years ago. They have the usual Socksmith quality, i.e., excellent, and I love the "Shin!" joke in the blurb.
I do wish they had little dreidels included or instead of the Stars of David in the ankle/foot design so it would be clearer that they're Hanukah socks when worn with pants (winter holiday!). Another idea: Socks with little dreidels all over, in different colors, or with little menorahs with multi-color candles, as they often are in real life. Blue and white are very pretty, but you can think beyond that combo, sometimes!
Recently, the design was on sale, so I bought a pair to put away for my niece. She's Orthodox and wears long skirts, so I know she'll especially appreciate knee-high Hanukah socks when it begins in December, this year!
