  1. Can I make a custom sock?

    We are capable of making custom socks for people however our minimums are currently pretty high. 1200 pairs to be exact. If this number didn't scare you off please contact us for more information.

  2. How can I design a sock for you?

    We are always looking for talented and fresh new talent. We accept submissions on a regular basis on our Design a Sock page. You can get our template there and send us your creations. If you are a professional designer and would like to speak to us directly about freelance work please email us at: design@sockittome.com. It helps to include a link to your portfolio and some information about yourself.

  3. Where are you located?

    We are located in Portland, Oregon, USA

  4. What size are your socks?

    Our women's socks fit a shoe size 5-10 and our men's socks fit up to a size 13. Our socks are really stretchy so they fit a wide range of feet sizes.

  5. Where are your socks made?

    Our socks are made in Korea. Carrie recently went to Korea to check out our factory. You can read about it on our blog here.

  6. I'm a plus size gal, can you recommend which socks would fit me best?

    We have a new sock made for you! Our STRETCH-IT™ line is made for more stretch. We cracked the code and created new technology to make patterned socks with more stretch because more stretch is more awesome! The STRETCH-IT™ socks can stretch up to 21 inches in circumference. Check them out here. Other than those, our striped socks stretch more overall than our more patterned socks. If you have any questions about sizing on a specific sock, please feel free to message us.

  7. Do you have any plans on making kids socks or men's knee highs? Or tights... or over the knee.... or socks for cats?

    We are always thinking about new types of socks we can make. Chances are, we will not be making socks for cats but crazier things have happened.

  8. I like some of your men's styles. Can I wear them? Or will they be too big for me.

    You can totally wear them! The sock police will not arrest you. The men's socks fit women's size 8 and up comfortably but if you don't mind the heel being a little big there's no reason why you can't wear them with smaller feet.

  9. How can I find a store selling SITM socks near me?

    Sock it to Me is now in stores all over the world. To list every store would just be crazy! You're welcome to shoot us off an email if you want to support your local economy and find a store in your area. In Portland we are in stores such as: Sock Dreams, Buy Olympia, Presents of Mind, Powell's at the Airport, Powell's on Burnside, New Seasons, Gypsy Chic, Frock, Naked City, and Buffalo Exchange.

    Ordering & Payment

  1. What type of payment methods do you accept?

    We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, and Paypal.

  2. Why have I been charged twice?

    If, during the process of placing your order, you entered the incorrect billing address and received a message to try again or that the card was declined, it might appear that there are multiple charges on your card for the order.

    This is due to the nature of the way that banks process credit card transactions. Each time you try to place an order with us, a hold for the amount of your order is placed on your credit card. This occurs whether the billing address you entered is correct or incorrect. If the billing address is incorrect, our merchant account will immediately void the charge and ask you to try the order again. Please be assured that your card was actually charged only once. Only one of the charges should show up on your paper credit card statement. If the charge does appear on your paper credit card statement or if it persists for over a week, please let us know and we will investigate the matter further.

    We realize that this issue does present a considerable inconvenience to our customers and we sincerely apologize for this. Unfortunately, we have not been able to find a good solution to this problem.  

 

    Shipping & Returns

  1. How do you ship?
  2. We ship using the United States Postal system. It's the cheapest way to go for small orders.  We also offer UPS shipping as an option. All of our wholesale orders are shipped using UPS Ground.

  3. Do you ship internationally?
  4. Yes we do! We ship anywhere the post will deliver. However, we only accept PayPal for international orders. We apologize for this inconvenience but we are unable to accept credit cards directly for international orders.

    We do not guarantee arrival of international packages. Please order at your own risk. We recommend choosing either UPS or USPS Priority International options for international orders as these options allow your packages to be tracked outside of the US.  USPS First Class International mail is not tracked beyond our border.

    UPS charges a brokerage fee for international shipments.  All duties, taxes and brokerage fees are the responsibility of the customer.  Canada Customs requires Canadian recipients to pay applicable duties and taxes on each shipment entering Canada.  These charges may include PST, GST, HST, duties and other taxes of goods (e.g. excise tax). A brokerage fee is also charged to process shipments and present the requisite customs paperwork to Canada Customs on the importers behalf.

    If you choose to ship UPS to Canada your order will be shipped under UPS's e-Tailer Brokerage Program (eBP), where eligible shipments imported into Canada for non-commercial purposes and valued under CAD$200 shiped via UPS Standard service are subject to a reduced brokerage fee of CAD$10, plus any applicable duties and taxes.  Shipments valued at CAD$200 and above and/or being imported to Canada for commercial purposes and/or subject to specialized clearance may incur additional fees. 

    Please be aware that UPS will request payment of these charges at the time of delivery.  YOu have the ability to call UPS ahead of time (1-800-742-5877) to pay these charges, eliminating the need for payment on delivery.

    Unfortunately, international orders are not eligible for our free shipping promotion.

  5. When can I expect my order to ship?
  6. Sock it to Me ships Monday - Friday. Please allow 1-3 days for your order to be packed and ready to send out. 90% of the time we are able to ship orders within 24 hours.

  7. How long will it take for my order to arrive?
  8. Orders typically take 2-7 days from the ship date for them to arrive. Priority Mail is faster and takes a few days at the most to arrive. It depends on where you are located in relation to us. International orders can take anywhere from 1-8 weeks to arrive. The average is 2 weeks. If you have any questions about when your order will arrive don't hesitate to email us.

  9. How can I check the status of my order?
  10. Log in to your account to check the status of your order. You can also use the contact form if you'd like to send us a message about your order.

  11. How do I cancel my order?
  12. Please contact us as soon as possible if you would like to cancel your order. If your order has already shipped we will not be able to cancel your order.

  13. What is your return policy?
  14. We accept returns within 30 days of your order date. We will gladly exchange or refund your order if you have received damaged or defective socks. If you ordered the wrong item or decide that what you ordered wasn't what you were looking for we are happy to accept your return as long as our socks are in their original packaging and unused. Please message us before you mail us a return so we can get it authorized first.
