Here is the info:

1. Save the design template above.

2. Design anything you want on the sock using an image editing program. Or, print off the template, draw on it, scan it and either email it to us or send it to 1040 SE Clinton St. Portland, OR 97202 USA 

3. Fill out the contact information on the template completely.

3. E-mail the image to: designcontest@sockittome.com

4. We are not responsible for lost or stolen submissions

5. No more than 5 entries per person.

NOTE: The design must be the artist's original creation and should not be copied or duplicated from previously published art. The design is limited to a maximum of six colors. All colors must be flat and solid, with no shading, blending or half-tones. Sock It To Me reserves the right to alter the design if necessary.

If we like your design and want to put it into production we will contact you. Many of the designs we have produced come from our ongoing Design a Sock contest.  We award the artist $200 total per design.  If we do not buy the design from you the imagery is still yours. Make sure to include your full name, address, email, and phone number with your submission.

Twice a year we hold a special contest where the cash prize is upped to $500. Please check our BLOG for specific dates to this contest. We also announce on Facebook and our mailing list when it is taking place.

Krissy is a 30 yr old freelance artist and web/graphic designer Her website is www.etherealart.co.nz. She lives in wellington New Zealand with her almost 11 year old daughter and their crazy assortment of pets including a dog, 2 cats, a turtle, an axolotl and some fish. She practices Kenpo Karate and plays the guitar. She also likes to sew, roam around the forest and read. She developed a love of funky socks a few years ago and was delighted when she discovered SITM’s website just in time to enter the competition... what luck!!!!

 

 

 

Cathie is 27 years old and has lived in Athens, GA, for about 9 years.  She always loved drawing and can be obsessed with details.  The last few years she has done more drawing on the computer with her tablet than pencil and paper.  She has worked as a graphic artist for the past 4 years and currently works at UberPrints.com as the screen print supervisor.  She graduated from UGA with a bachelor's in printmaking.  She really like socks.  In fact, she has three drawers full of socks organized by style.  She enjoys doing zombie makeup for fun, is an avid lover of candy and has a horrible sense of humor.
